Rapunzel Play at Mayland Heights - CRAZY HAIR DAY -MONDAY Feb 24
Alberta Musical Theatre Company’s Rapunzel is about finding your own voice and your own magic! And, of course, like the classic story itself, it’s all about HAIR! We encourage teachers and students to attend our production with the hairstyle YOU like the most! Don’t be afraid to have some fun with it. We’ll be on the lookout for your cool hair-dos, so get out your blow dryer and your hair gel and have some fun attending a performance at the theat-ah... your way!

Bake Sale from Grade 3-4 French Immersion Students
Grade 3-4 French Immersion students will be hosting a bake sale and the proceeds will go towards our Mayland Heights Outdoor Learning Space. Bakery items will be available for 1$ to 5$. We ask families to send loonies and toonies to pay for items.
CBE Student Survey
Mayland Heights students will be participating in an online student survey called the CBE Student Survey. This survey helps the school and CBE to understand students’ experiences at school. Please find the details of the survey are:
Who: Students in Grades 5 and 6
When: Wed. February 26, 2025 (Grade 6), Tuesday March 11, 2025 (Grade 5)
A letter is being sent home to families today with more information about this survey. Please contact Melissa Bartlett with any questions at mebartlett@cbe.ab.ca
Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) Survey
Attached is the parent letter being sent home today about the Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) student survey that grade 4 Mayland Heights students will have an opportunity to complete over the next couple weeks.
Parents of students in grade 4 will also receive more information and a random access code to complete the online Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) parent survey from the Calgary Board of Education soon. We hope that all parents of grade 4 students will take the opportunity to complete this survey. If you would like this survey provided in a language other than English, please contact Melissa Bartlett at mebartlett@cbe.ab.ca

A huge thank you to the MH School Council and MH Fundraising Association for organizing the Alien-In Line Family Night for our families! A great time was had by everyone! Another huge success.
