Alien In-line Family Skating Night (RSVP Needed)

Our ALIEN Family Skate Night is almost here.  We need families to sign up and let us know what time they will be coming to join us.  The skating night is open to students of Mayland Heights with their parents or guardians.  We unfortunately cannot accommodate skates for other family members or friends..  We are asking each family to RSVP (click here ALIEN FAMILY SKATE NIGHT) in order to make sure everyone has fun.   No food or drinks are permitted in the gym, this includes spectators)

VOTING RESULTS ARE IN!

We asked our families to help us select the name of our Husky as well as our new school motto.  The results are in.  It was a close race but the new motto for Mayland Heights will be Building Strong Community Together and the name of our Husky will be named Scout!  Stay tuned for opportunities to purchase your swag for Mayland Heights.  As you can see below the results were close.  Thank you to everyone who voted.

Cold Weather Policy

We recognize the value of outdoor breaks such as recess and lunch during the school day, however, when the temperatures reach -20 Celsius or colder including the wind-chill factor, students will not be going outside.    Please dress your children with all their winter clothing for recess and lunch.  Students will be going outside in the winter. We recommend that students wear a few layers in order to stay warm.

Report Cards available January 27 on CBE account

Learn How to Access Report Cards, Attendance Information and More

Families can view, download or print online report cards for kindergarten to Grade 12 students on Monday, Jan. 27 until May 30, 2025 through MyCBE.

Within MyCBE, families can also view student information, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades and attendance information.

How is My Child Doing in School?

Report cards summarize and communicate student achievement at a point in time. In addition to the report card, schools communicate with parents/guardians about student progress on an ongoing basis in a variety of ways.
