Traffic Reminders
We once again have 4 buses at our school. Please do not park in the bus zone. Watch the signs. The parking lot is reserved for staff only. Our buses need space to drive to the school when they turn on Maunsell Drive from MacKinnon Drive.
We ask that parents please park on McKinnon Drive and walk to the school to pick up their children.
Please consider driving in the same direction as the buses to help circulation and safety for everyone. (see picture attached)

PARENTS: DO NOT stop in the middle of the road to drop off your children. This is extremely dangerous.
Report Cards
We want to remind parents that Report Cards will be available on February 24th 2026. Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report cards, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information. For the best access to information, log in through the MyCBE portal instead of using the PowerSchool App.
Grade 6 Camp Kindle Parent Meeting 6-7PM
We are excited to announce that our Grade 6 students have the opportunity to attend Outdoor School at Camp Kindle. This three-day, two-night experience will take place from Monday, March 9th to Wednesday, March 11th, 2026.
MH Open House for NEW Kindergarten and Grade 1s
On Thursday, January 29th from 6PM - 7PM we will be hosting an information meeting for NEW families interested in French Immersion in Kindergarten and Grade 1 for September 2026. We have publicity in the NE communities and encourage our Mayland Heights parents to let their friends and neighbours know about our school.
MH Family Valentine’s Dance
MH Family Valentine’s Dance will be on Thursday, February 5th from 6:30pm to 8pm. Students from MH school only and parents must accompany their children at the family dance. A professional DJ will be in charge of the music and we are excited to see everyone’s dance moves! Sponsored by our MH School Council. Open to Mayland Heights students and their parents only.
Let us know if you are attending the family dance so we can prepare a goody bag for you to bring home.
