Report Cards:
We want to remind parents that Report Cards will be available on February 24th 2026. Parents and Guardians can sign in to MyCBE to view student information, including report cards, comments from your child’s teacher, assignments and grades, and attendance information. For the best access to information, log in through the MyCBE portal instead of using the PowerSchool App.
Mayland Heights Online Store for School Merchandise (Opens Jan 5th, 2026 - January 29th 2026)
Mayland Heights School will soon have merchandise available to highlight our wonderful HUSKY logo, Building Strong Community Together. Families will be able to purchase t-Shirts (Youth and adult sizes, colours), sweatshirts, water bottles, insulated mugs and hats from our ONLINE store.
Families will be able to order and pay online and have their items delivered to the school. The ONLINE store will be available for a couple of weeks at a time and then close to allow for bulk shipping to the school. Our ONLINE store will be open at several occasions throughout the school year.

The store will be open from January 5 until the 29th 2026. Delivery of items at the school will be within 2 weeks of the closing date. Families will be contacted when items are available for pick up or we can send home with students.
Grade 6 Camp Kindle Parent Meeting 6-7PM
We are excited to announce that our Grade 6 students have the opportunity to attend Outdoor School at Camp Kindle. This three-day, two-night experience will take place from Monday, March 9th to Wednesday, March 11th, 2026.
There will be a mandatory parent information night at Mayland Heights School on Thursday, January 15th, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Attendance at this meeting is required as per Calgary Board of Education (CBE) policy. If you are unable to attend, please contact Ms. Astle at saastle@cbe.ab.ca to arrange an alternative meeting time.
MH Open House for NEW Kindergarten and Grade 1s
On Thursday, January 29th from 6PM - 7PM we will be hosting an information meeting for NEW families interested in French Immersion in Kindergarten and Grade 1 for September 2026. We have publicity in the NE communities and encourage our Mayland Heights parents to let their friends and neighbours know about our school.
MH Family Valentine’s Dance
MH Family Valentine’s Dance will be on Thursday, February 5th from 6:30pm to 8pm. Students from MH school only and parents must accompany their children at the family dance. A professional DJ will be in charge of the music and we are excited to see everyone’s dance moves! Sponsored by our MH School Council.

Due to Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, parents and guardians need to subscribe online to receive some email and text messages on topics like student fees, picture days, field trip costs, yearbooks, fun lunches and more.
