October Family Dance Night -October 24 -6-8pm
School Council will be hosting an October Family Dance Night on October 24th from 6PM to 8PM in the school gym. There will be a DJ and halloween costumes are encouraged. We ask that costumes are family appropriate, NO gore or weapons are allowed. Parents must attend the dance with their children.
Each person will receive an entry ticket for a slice of pizza and a drink. In order to plan enough food and drinks for families, we ask that you complete the form using the link below to reserve your spot.

Board Games or Puzzle Donations
We are inviting families who may have some puzzles or board games at home that they are no longer using to consider donating them to our classrooms. We are looking for games that have all the pieces necessary to play, are in good condition and appropriate for elementary aged children. These board games and puzzles can be brought in and delivered at the office. Our students will appreciate using these during our rainy or colder lunch recesses.
Parents and Visitors in the School
All parents and visitors are required to report to the office. Parents are not permitted to travel in the school hallways without being accompanied by a staff member. We ask all parents to say their goodbyes at the front door in the morning and allow their children to build independence by entering the building on their own and carrying their personal items themselves (backpacks, lunch box and shoes). This is to ensure safety for all students and staff at Mayland Heights. We thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding.
End of Day Dismissal
We ask parents to please wait for their children outside the front doors, below the stairs in the afternoons in order for the classes to be dismissed safely. We will not be calling students down to the office after 3:15PM.
