Carnaval Sport Day -Volunteers needed
We are pleased to announce that our Winter Carnival Sports Day will be held at school on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026.
This school-wide celebration is designed to promote a physically active and healthy lifestyle in a culture of respect, camaraderie, and community spirit, while also honoring the traditions of French-Canadian settlers. It will be a fun and engaging day for all students.
If you are interested in volunteering, please reply to this e-mail or to saastle@cbe.ab.ca.
Early Drop Off at School -Safety concern
We are noticing that students are being dropped off in the morning as early as 8:30am. Students are not supervised until 9AM each day. If parents are dropping off their child before 9am - students will NOT be let in the building early, no matter the weather. Without supervision it is extremely concerning that students are left on their own. The school is not responsible if any injuries would happen.
Student-Led Conferences (Thursday Evening 4:30pm - 7:30PM)
No appointment necessary. Students will be showcasing their work and speaking to their families about their learning. Teachers will be present for guidance. This is not the time for individual conversations about your child. Please contact your children’s teachers for separate meetings if necessary.
